I purchased this late 2019 to replace a cheaper white storage mirror that didn't fit my decor. I chose this model because of the solid wood frame and unique shape and color. I got the gray wash one and it has a nice farmhouse/antique look that makes it look more expensive than it actually is. I didnt have any issues assembling it by myself and so far it has held up nicely. The door and hinges still work well and it is much sturdier than my old cheaper model. I appreciate the variety of nice storage/organization features. I actually use the ring storage section at the top for smaller, stud-type earrings since I can just push their back pins into the ring slots. I like that the door has a magnetic close so my pets can't paw it open.A couple of minor issues: 1) The mirror angle is NOT adjustable despite how it looks, though this hasnt been a problem for me. 2) When the door is securely closed there are a couple of millimeters of space between it and the frame so it is not at all airtight. If you have silver jewelry it will tarnish faster in this mirror vs if it was kept in a closed jewelry box or bag. I may try to add a foam strip on the inside of my door to see if that helps but for now I have been placing and replacing anti-tarnish strips in the mirror to help. 3) The top hooks located on the inside of the door are presumably intended for very long necklaces, however they are not very functional. Longer/thicker necklaces will prevent the door from securely closing, and because of the mirror angle the hanging necklaces can rub against other jewelry in the organizer which can cause damage/scratches. I ended up using the hooks to hang small drawstring bags containing larger earrings and bracelets. I think it would have been better if instead of hooks they had put a few rows of divided soft pockets on the inside of the door.Overall, despite the issues above, I love this mirror and I am glad I bought it.This shipped from Texas to Michigan so I was concerned about damages - but it arrived with the mirror intact and was sturdily packed. There was a small dent/flaw in the finish where the door closes that could have happened during shipping, but it can't be seen when the door is closed so it's fine for me. The inside is not what I would call luxurious - it has an odd odor, the lining is a very thin velour type of finish and it's the color of cardboard so at first glance it does come across as a thin fuzzy cardboard lining. Where the rings are stored, 2 of the slots are glued together so it's not possible to put rings in those spots. I will probably take an exacto knife and try to fix it. Some of the necklace hangers are a bit crooked. For the price, it looks very nice as a standing mirror, but if you are looking at the inside the jewelry cabinet is pretty bare bones. For the cost of it I am satisfied though. I feel like you would pay just as much at a furniture store for a plain standing mirror like this with no storage.Top row of hooks were barely hanging on. Had to purchase bigger screws to make it sturdy! The back piece should be a little thicker to allow for longer screws to be used for the rows of hooks on the inside. The rest of the cabinet is pretty sturdy. It was a Valentine's gift for my wife that didn't come on time, so I was sent another.The wood had two places where it was scraped. Also, there’s a spot for long necklaces. However, if you place a long one on it and close the door, the door doesn’t shut completely. Overall it’s a nice quality and has room, but flaws for it to be $200.I picked this one due to its unique bell shape and wood color. I am glad I did. The color is awesome. The mirror is just what I wanted. I am giving it 4 stars because the necklace area does not accommodate long necklaces well however this isn’t a huge issue for me. The door does have a row of hooks for longer necklaces. I chose this one because I didn’t want to put much on the door as it does not have storage on the door beyond a row of hooks. Also it did come slightly chipped in the front. Just barely, but what do you expect from a box traveling via standard mail. It was barely a noticeable scruff so I just used wood markers that I already had and it is 100% unnoticeable and took 20 seconds to fix. I would recommend this and think it is likely one of the better quality ones for the money. I just got it but would compare it to what I have seen at Kirkland’s or pier one.Beautiful piece, however it was chipped when I received it. The magnet is extremely strong, I'm so afraid it will tip over when I pull to open it, therefore I make sure to use one hand to brace and the other to pull the door open. The slots for earrings are a little difficult to hold my earrings due to how it's positioned. I can't place the posts in the slots without the earring slipping out, therefore I have to open the earring back a little and then slide into the holder.Very easy to assemble, nice looking piece. I didn’t realize that it was set in one position I thought it would have a slight range of motion. I got it for my wife’s birthday and she like it a lot.This is beautiful! It is nearly perfect! The only thing I would change is to have the shelf right below the hooks on the door to be indented some or have the door indented some so that longer necklaces can fit there. Other then that its exactly what I wanted.
